and then there was Fame...fantastic...!

Spring is here...

Which means nothing to you...but in normality PEI should still be snow laden and freezing, average temperature 5...this Easter weekend, the temperature was in the 20s...both great for us and yet scary...global warming here we come...

We have farmers farming, frogs-a-croaking, insects-a-buzzing and everybody in shorts and flip flops. To give you more perspective, I don't put away my -40 degree bearable winter coat until end of May...and it's only the beginning of April...

Everyone is shell shocked...we have had no winter and now we have Spring already.

Anyways...(that's an island expression)

I had laser surgery on my eyes last week, just a simple iridotomy, hopefully, that will take care of some of my headaches and I also get to wear anti-glare glasses, which I wear when I'm on the pc...which is practically all the time...bizarrely, no prescription in them, just coating, as my vision is still perfect, so they tell me.

Steve is down about the football...I ignore him. Joe seems to be picking up a little from his blues and Sam is still spending all his time between exams/musical and fundraising/soccer.

We had a nice Easter, however, the Easter eggs here are crap...so we ended up buying a load of English chocolate and consoling ourselves with flakes, turkish delights, minstrels, yorkies and milky ways...we got over our disappointment rather quickly!

The photo are the Easter Cookies I made for Sam's Bake Sale (more fundraising!) they sold out of everything in 4 hours...we still have another $848 to raise...*hiss boo*

So we are fatter and browner...that's about it for now
